Potty Trained...Well, Mostly

Eliza is officially diaper free! Except for naps and night-time, of course. It was a long road, but it mostly came down to my dedication, not Eliza's. She probably could have been potty trained earlier if I had been brave enough to put her in panties for more than hour long intervals. That is really what made the difference--wearing panties all the time, having some accidents, and me not nagging Eliza every five minutes about the potty (the constant reminders made her quite resistant, as it turns out). Anyway, we still have occasional accidents, but I believe we are over the worst of it. We told Eliza we'd buy her a toy for doing so well. She chose a My Little Pony (she calls it either "Baby Pony" or "Big Pony") and some cheap-o golf club set that she pretends is a vacuum. She is very pleased with herself :)
