On the way up to Lake Powell to meet the Merkleys, we stopped in Sedona to visit Slide Rock State Park. It was beautiful! The sun was hot that day, but the water was freezing, so it ended up being perfect. Word to the wise: bring water shoes. It's slippery out there. We played in the water for a couple hours until Eliza slipped and fell on the rocks, resulting in a nasty bruise on her cheek. Then we left.
