I know I always say this, but seriously, time flies. I can't believe our Nora-pie is 6 months old already. It probably has to do with the fact that Nora is not reaching those traditional 6 month old milestones yet :) This is what Nora is up to:
- rolling onto either of her sides from the lying-on-her-back position. she is so close to rolling over!
- tolerating, if you will, her baby food. some days she just won't open her mouth, some days she'll gobble it up. it's a mystery. we've given her sweet potatoes, pears, carrots, bananas, and peaches. i will never forget the time she spit up those peaches on Camille's wedding dress. classic.
- still spitting up, but i wouldn't classify her as a fountain anymore. we all smell a little better as a result.
- laughing. yes, this girl knows how to giggle. i attribute most of nora's laugh attacks to eliza. she also laughed forever at one of eliza's baby dolls the other day. i just don't have the magic touch, i guess.
- babbling a bit--she mostly says ma-ma-ma
- currently sleeping from 7pm-5 or 6am, then eats, goes right back to sleep until 8:30am-ish. she usually has two naps a day, but she's pretty irregular with the length of said naps.
- loves playing on the floor with her toys. nora rarely likes to be held, funny girl.
- scooting backward on the floor when she is lying on her back. she is sure going places! just not in the usual manner :)
- NEVER CRIES (unless, of course, she is poopy, hungry, tired, or on her tummy. and even then, it is more like a whimper)
