It is a tradition of ours to go to Granny's house for Christmas brunch. We missed the party last year because we stayed in Milwaukee, so it was nice to be back. There were a lot of people missing this year though, thanks to Christmas landing on a Sunday and thanks to my brother John who landed himself in the hospital with a nasty case of bacterial meningitis...not that I blame him or anything :) These things can't be prevented, you know. But we still had a great time catching up with the family and eating some delicious food. Including See's chocolates. My granny keeps those in stock. It's been a long time.
