On the 26th we headed down to Orem to my aunt Lysa's house. We never miss this party because, for one, the food is to die for. Lysa outdoes herself every year. I wish I had a picture of the food--my favorites were the Baked Alaska, Gruyere mashed potatoes, and the Magleby's rolls. Delish. This evening was a momentous occasion--Eliza overcame her fear of dogs. Eliza hasn't stopped talking about the doggies, Tory and Cooper, and her new friends (i.e. my sweet cousins) who played with her the entire night. We did something new this year at Lysa's--a Wight (get it?!) Elephant exchange. We wound up with a Scentsy candle, pink Larry's Towing hat, and a bag of Lindt chocolates. Not bad considering what we brought...
