The Neck Beard

The 1st Annual Beard Growing Contest was held this last Friday night. Taylor's friend Jeff planned the whole event. The men began growing their beards the 1st of December and were judged at dinner (Bigg's Roadhouse...yum!) on Friday. The judges (all the wives) judged according to beard length, style, and name. And the winner was gifted free dinner, courtesy of Jeff. Taylor featured The Neck Beard. He even had a pretty swirly cowlick to top it off. I think it should have been called Hobo or Homeless Man or something. But whatever he did, he must have done right because HE WON!! All those weeks of itchiness, scratchy kisses, and dinner in his facial hair paid off...literally! We had a really great time with all of our friends here and hope this becomes a tradition. I can't wait to see next year's contestants!
