Eliza turns 3!

Eliza turned three years old on June 2nd. Really, time flies. I can't believe she's three already. We started the day by going to Dr. Kirschner for Eliza's three year old check up and Nora's 6 month check up. Eliza is 30 pounds (50%) and 37.6 inches tall (75%). Nora measured 27 inches long (75-90%) and weighed 17 pounds 1 ounce (50-75%). Eliza had one shot, Nora had three. So sad to cry on your birthday! The doctor also told us Eliza has walking pneumonia...this explains the lingering cough, runny nose, and general under-the-weatherness. It feels like she has been sick with something or other since Nora was born...and that is six months, people! They gave us antibiotics and an inhaler, which seems to be helping. Anyway, after the doctor we went to the park with some of Eliza's friends. Eliza mostly sat in the swing (as opposed to swinging in the swing) and ate crackers on the grass. We took naps when we went home, then played out on the lawn. When Daddy came home at six we went to Potbelly's for dinner, a yummy sandwich place nearby. Eliza ate a bag of chips. We came home and opened presents and ate cake and ice cream, of which Eliza ate none. Eliza's favorite presents were a Rapunzel doll, tennis racket, t-ball set, and a dress. She also got more lip gloss.
