Well Eliza is 11 months old today. It's hard to imagine that we've had our baby girl for almost a year! And every day she's becoming less baby and more little girl :) It's so fun to watch Eliza's sweet personality emerge and see her discovering the world around her. This month she:
- HAS FINALLY LAUGHED. This is a major breakthrough, as most of you well know!
- waves as much as possible, whenever she remembers that she can wave. Really, she can't be stopped.
- can dance! Here is our proof:
- shovels Goldfish into her mouth, can eat a whole banana plus a jar of baby food without breaking a sweat, and knows when we're trying to hide sweets from her (a sixth sense, I think)
- must go to sleep with her baby...she has formed an attachment. We're not so sure it's a good thing, but it's really sweet!
can stand without help for about 5 seconds...we'll have a little walker here in no time!- loves to pull down her books (we'll, all the books she can reach) from the bookshelf and look at the pictures
- loves the beautiful weather we're having here in Milwaukee. Eliza loves being outside to take a walk, or have a picnic, or play on the swing set. This will be the Summer of Eliza.
- is very mischievous in the bath

I really want to hear her laugh now. We'll have to have a little playdate so I can.

What a cute post! Eliza can do so much, and she listens when you tell her to do something (like "push the music and dance" and "no, sit down on your bum bum"). So cute!
