It's been four months!

Our sweet Nora

• smiles often and laughs occasionally. she has to be in the mood to get a good laugh.
  
• babbles
• sucks and chews on her fingers, toys, burp cloth
• still loves that binky! not sure why she keeps knocking it out with her hands. next step: teach her how to put that binky back in
  
• weighs 14 lbs. 8 oz (75%), height is 24.75" (50-75%), head circumference is 41.9 cm (75-90%). our big girl is officially in 6 month clothing.
  
• goes to bed easily in her crib. all she needs is a full tummy and a tight swaddle and she never makes a fuss. her naps are a little crazy. she wakes up around 8am, naps around 10am for an hour or two, naps again at 1pm for a three hour nap, and then takes another cat nap at 6pm. we put her to sleep at 8pm. she wakes up anywhere between 2am and 6am for her night time feeding. i'm hoping to kick that middle of the night meal soon. but sometimes it is just easier to feed the baby so i can go back to sleep!
• is called "nora-pie" by eliza. i'm guessing this is a spin-off of my term of endearment for her, "sweetie-pie." we also call her "nora-pants," "snora," "my girl," and "slug."
• has also become notorious for her blow outs. she averages once every other day or so. the other day i was changing nora's pants and exclaimed "oh my heck!" eliza ran over to me, wide-eyed, and asked, "nora have a blow up?"
• is very active while nursing--she's is continuously hitting, scratching, and pulling on Mommy's hair. we'll see how long Mommy lasts nursing :)
