This year is the first time in our marriage that we've sat down for a full-blown Thanksgiving meal. The first year we were on our honeymoon in San Diego and last year we were on a Caribbean cruise. So we've been anticipating this meal. We got together with our friends the Leiters, Smiths, and Jacobsons, and we had more food that I've ever seen in my life! And it was all scrumptious. Gobble, Gobble.
Taylor made his very first turkey from the recipe of his Food Network idol, Alton Brown. It was delicious! Most turkeys seem to be dry and flavorless, but Taylor's turkey was moist and oh so tasty. We aren't sure if he'll do it again (he went to great lengths for this bird--waking up at 4 am to start soaking it in the brine), but we really enjoyed it.

Looks like you had a great Thanksgiving! Way to go on the turkey, Taylor! I hope you guys took the opportunity to get a picture of Eliza holding the drumstick.... You guys have such a cute family!
