Hogle Zoo

Zoo Trip #1
Eliza and I first went to the Utah Hogle Zoo with Grammy, Aunt Camille, Cousins Christian and Ethan, and Sally and Caleb. It was a toasty day (and my allergies reached a whole new level of miserable), but Eliza loved seeing some new animals for a change. (We managed to go to the Milwaukee County Zoo almost weekly!)
Riding the train--no doubt Eliza's favorite part of her zoo experience. Too bad the ride was literally a minute and a half long...

Zoo Trip #2
See the little baby elephant in the background? It was adorable. Eliza kept talking about the "Baby Ele-el" for days! Grammy was good enough to buy Eliza a stuffed animal of baby elephant Zuri, which she is her constant sleeping companion :)
I don't know what this is called exactly. Floating marble ball in water? Eliza tried to lick it. Big surprise there.
Waiting for the bird show to begin. Eliza was fascinated by these birds. She especially loved when the birds flew right over her head and when the parrot talked and sang. She also liked to repeat what the bird trainer was saying!
