Splash Pad

Our neighborhood splash pad has been a life saver this year. We probably go three times a week, at least. I go in hopes that Eliza will get tuckered out and take a three hour nap afterward, but I hope in vain. But really, Eliza loves the water. She loves to walk around the "deep end" on her hands, put her face in the mushroom waterfall, and lie down and get her hair wet where it is shallow. She also loves to be wrapped up in her towel. Some days that is all she chooses to do--sit on the sidelines in her towel and watch the other kids play. :) It's too bad that it's only open for two months out of the year! What will we do half of August and all September??
